This engaging painting is an excellent representation of the artist’s technique. Although it seems to be dominated by black this painting transmits an illusion of vibration and engages with the spectator´s imagination. Some see the eyes of a creature watching from the darkness, others see the soft texture of velvet and some notice various colours such as blue and red glowing from the shadows.
